Assignment #26: Where Children Eat and Sleep

Hello blog readers!


Today we have a new geography assignment, it is about where children eat and sleep!
we have to write a reflection about what children eat and where children sleep in the fictional country that I have created.

the life in "ANONUSHA" is a nice life it is where the Pacific Ocean and it is such a great warm place to put my country in,

My name is  Surania, I am 13 years old 

i live in Anonusha  I am in grade 8 and i love math it is my favorite subject .
I have 1 brother and 1 sister.
I use to share a room with my sister because we only have 3 rooms in our house . our house is not that big but it is my favorite place ever!
I love going to the beach to make a sandcastles , sometimes we go shopping at the shopping center.

we have allot of fruits in my country my favorite fruit to eat is the kiwi (I LOVE THIS THING).

In my country we have a lot of meat, seafood,fishes,and milk.

Shahad's Childhood Top Ten

my top ten childhood memories is:

1- Laila and the wolf
it is the book that my mom used to read it to me and my brothers to tell us that it is not safe to go out alone and don't listen to the instructions that they would tell us about.
I think it is an international book and i think everybody know it!

2- The cube
it is a toy that it should be play with hands and you have to make each side with the same colour ant it actually took a LONG time to solve! it was my FAVORITE thing to play with and I think that they still sale it at this time.
NOTE: I think it is available at "toys r us "

3-the blocks,
 it is a lot of a small blocks that you can build and make a things of it like bridges and houses and I think every body played with this blocks before, It was my second favorite toy to play with.
NOTE: I think it is available at "toys r us" 

4-Running! 
I think this is kind a funny because when i was 9 months i started to walk but i was kind of happy that i was walking so  I was always running in my house spicily at the living room when my family used to watch TV or other things and i didn't stop this thing till 3 or 4 years old and my mom was always saying STOP but i wont listen.

5-Twins!
the other thing that when i was 2 years old i had my sister and my mom was always making us wear the SAME thing and people always asked her" are they twins" even if we were not look the same.

6-Throwing the food!
I always wanted to eat by my self and when I eat i took the spoon and take the food but I don't  it in my mouth, i throw it behind and my mom got my on me but each time is the same!

7-SANAFER
it is an old book when my mom was a kid she always watched it and is actually a cartoon but it was a book too it was my favorite cartoon and book I LOVE IT !

8-Pikachu 
It is my  Second FAVORITE book it was a cartoon too but when i was a little kid i i was learning how to read so i used to read it as a story and it was in ARABIC and in ENGLISH but i read it in ARABIC!

9-SNOW WHITE 
i think that we all know this story it is "SNOW WHITE" it was a cartoon too but i used to read it to improve my reading it is an international story as i know!  

10-I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL
it is an arabic story about a little boy named Samer. When his mom tells him to go to bed in order to get up early next morning for school, he decides not to go to bed nor to school, but rather go to different places. But soon discovers that school is the best and safest place. So he says good night to his mom, and goes to bed to wake up early and go to school the next morning.

assignment#24 Canadian Political Parties

Hello,
As we all know there will be a federal election in Canada on May 2 and Miss P wants us to do a little assignment and do read this article .
I think Canada should change and if i could vote i will vote for NDP( new Democratic Party of Canada)
the reasons why I chose this is that this party  plan to get Ottawa working for your family - one practical step at a time,They will raise taxes,improving your health services,rewarding the job creators, strengthening your pension, and making your life a little more affordable.
I want Canada to be a great country AC TULLY we all want Canada to be a grate country and I hope that when someones won  he/she keeps their promises

Canada and China

Hello!
we will have two new students in our class, and they are from China and today miss Pollock wants us to know more about China so we are doing this assignment.

I'm comparing things between "China and Canada" and we are focusing more about PEOPLE!

In Canada the death rate is 
7.98 deaths/1,000 population (July 2011 est.)

and in China the death rate is 

7.03 deaths/1,000 population (July 2011 est.)

The death rate gives the average number of deaths during a year per 1,000 population at midyear.



In Canada the  population is 

34,030,589 (July 2011 est.)

and in China the population is 

1,336,718,015 (July 2011 est.)

i knew that in China every each family should have just 1baby because they have a larg population and in Canada it is differnt.

In Canada the School life expectancy (primary to tertiary education) is

total: 17 years

male: 17 years
female: 17 years (2004)

and in China the School life expectancy (primary to tertiary education) is
total: 12 years

male: 11 years
female: 12 years (2009)

I'm wondering why Canada the total is 17 years and when they calculate it it was in 2004 and in China the total is 12 years and it was caculate in 2009.

Globalization means is to make the world in a better way by working together all over the world  with people that are different in cultures,society etc.

 I think to make an avrage faces the take photos of alots op people male and female aroand the world and put them together and than it come a photo to show the avarage or the results that is not a real person.
(In real life, how do facial identities change over generations?)
I think it would change when the parents are from different origin and maybe if the the environment changes around the person.

• I noticthat most of the avrages had a long chin so that maybe the faces in the future will most of them hace a longer chin
• another thing I noticed that when I compared places the males face was longer then the females.
• I also sow that the pictures are not clear and i think becuse it is alot of photos togethor.

• I think most of the people will be their face colour this or maybe more white
• also the eye the face like it is round
• also the cheeks are red

I think that I look a little like my mom the ways that my eyes is and the way that my face too and i think my hair colour is same as my mom too !

4321 History fair reflection

Hello again.!
As you know we  all worked very hard on our history fair projects and I'm so proud of what me and Aaisha have done. Miss Pollock wants us to answer 4321question , for more information click here .
my topic was the TELEGRAPH,  I  enjoyed learning about thus topic.

4 - The four most interesting things that you learned about your topic in your researching.

1- i learned about how people used it and the way to send the message and i also learned about the Morse code and what is it and how does it sound like and who invented the telegraph and when and i learned that people still use the Morse code today in some countries.

3 - Three things that you felt proud of on the day of the Fair .

I felt proud of how we got the board organized and the way that we present our speech and also that i had allot of information about the telegraph .

2 - Two specific researching or presentation techniques that were helpful to make your project so wonderful.

We used a drum sticks to show the people what is the Morse code and how the litters and numbers sound like.

Other  technique was how we divided the work between me and Aaisha to organize the board .

1 - One suggestion to make the History Fair even better in the future.

It was wonderful, I just suggest to make the way of the tables more organize so that all the people can see the boards more clearly
